Getting KDE 4.5 working on Smarttop under Ubuntu nattyin category Linux Distributions

Project Summary
SmartBook which I got during UDS-N was running Ubuntu "maverick" and GNOME interface. As my work moved me to "natty" on all machines I decided to move also SmartBook to it.Now I need to work out how to get KDE working (there are some build problems on armel) and adapt it to small resolution of SmartBook.

I did tests during last months and sorry - 512MB ram is not enough to have KDE running on Smartbook. Adding swap kills any fun.
Moved to XFCE was much better decision - I even switched my desktop due to that ;D
My Smartbook had wrongly positioned output on screen - top few lines were cut. But thanks to comment from Steev Klimaszewski I got it working as it should.
One bonus is that in one run I also got rid of initrd on boot as kernel has everything needed.
