Project Summary
Summary: Extend the mainline Linux support for the i.MX515More Detail: The machine would be used to extend the current mainline support for i.MX5 in general and i.MX515 in particular. Next to the basic board support code I would like to work on drivers for different on board chips. Either add support for them in exsisting driver or write new ones.
Advantages: Other projects (Linaro, Meego, Android and more) could work on top of this.
About myself: Working in the linux embedded field more then five years now. Mainly on linux based mobile phones, but also other devices. Worked as a freelance consultant for Openmoko, Inc and right now for BugLabs, Inc. In my spare time I worked on projects like OpenEZX.org, gnufiish.org, freesmartphone.org. I already did a lot of ARM kernel work be it board support or drivers.
