Project Proposal
(submiting the project ideas separately for better progress monitoring).We intend to optimize Mesa 3D (current and future Gallium3D releases) using AltiVec. We have shown (work in progress, check regularly) that AltiVec can be of great benefit to 3D operations, such as the ones used in Mesa 3D.
