Project Summary
Small footprint digital media device attached to TV.Hardware consists of the board itself, dvd drive and CF card as ide drive to hold the OS image.
On software side I'd pick up Debian GNU/Linux with necessary software including but not limited to: mplayer, mpg321 and vorbis-tools with either ready or to be developed front end.
Media besides dvd, divx and cd-da will be either streamed from internet or mounted from NFS or NAS server.
