Hi Karl, as much as we would like to believe in PowerPC at IBM, we do not. Nintendo (PPC G3) can't even get Flash 9 support and who should be helping them with that?

We see IBM focused on software in the data center with an increased presence in the middleware market where its key product segments including WebSphere, Information Management, Lotus, Tivoli and Rational are all performing well and gaining share. IBM has successfully reduced its dependence on host environments in the software segment over the past few years by focusing on branded middleware, which now represents 52% of IBM’s overall software business, up from 28% in 1996.
