To see the fps in glxgears
if you already didn't know that...

Thanks for your post. I did NOT know that, rather esoteric flag there if you ask me... well after using that I'm seeing I get 400fps with glxgears so about the same - the weird thing is the actual gears are moving A LOT slower than with my previous Deb install - but the fps is around the same.. weird. Also, If I remember right there was some other thing you could uncomment or add to make things faster with DRI (this was xfree86 though)
