Mikael 'Lisardman' Karlsson is working on a Rescue CD
project for the Pegasos. He works on it almost every day
and today it reached version 0.3. This live CD contains
various tools for recovery and testing of your Pegasos.
Mupper is Gentoo-based.

minicom - serial console (TTY) client
irssi - IRC client - if you need support

Hardware Diagnostics
fsck : Scan for corrupted blocks and files
memtester : A tool to test if your memory sticks are faulty

Partitioning
Parted : Partition editor
RAID-Tools : Create RAID arrays before OS install

Security
chkrootkit : Root exploit scanner
clamav : Open Source Anti virus for Linux and Windows viruses
nmap : Check for open server ports - test your firewall
rkhunter : Root exploit scanner

Hi Mikael, this is a great effort on your part! You deserve a reward for this and we would like to include it as a download here on this site. You already have an ODW, so give us a while to sort this out.

thank you too :) I did get over 50 downloads the first 12h so I am very pleased. I noticed that I was even on osnews with mupper :)

the iso of the latest mupper has been broken. I have now updated the iso. Now v0.3 of mupper should work.. Sorry for that.. And thanks to the one who noticed it for me :)

The Mupper Project is about to be listed on DistroWatch and features today's Linux Weekly Newsletter,

To spice up things a little more..

Mupper 0.4 with SFS Released!
Mupper - The Pegasos Rescue CD Project Goes on.. Today version 0.4 was released with support for USB keyboards and ASFS Filesystem support.
Now you can truly use this Rescue CD in any Linux or MorphOS environment. The Open-source virus scanner ClamAV was also updated.
