Kalamatee has informed Power2People that he considers the animation.datatype project to be completed.

The assigned developer uploaded a video clip showing the Animation datatype in action on x86_64. The video demonstrates:
  • the implemented animation.datatype itself in use
  • the tapedeck class that has been implemented to complement the animation.datatype, and replicate amigaos behaviour
  • the ported GIFanim datatype class and (IFF) ANIM datatype class decoding animations
The clip, which is potentially not safe to view at some work places, can be found here: https://youtu.be/3E8rYDOrlfI

The test GIF and anim files seen in the video have been uploaded to the AROS datatype test binary repository.

Power2People relies on users to help test and verify that bounty projects have been completed and do not contain major flaws. Please report back if you discovered any problems. Thank you in advance.

We would like to thank all testers for their reports and the developer for taking on this project.

The bounty requirements have been fulfilled and the project has been marked as "completed" on the Power2People website.
