More of an announcement than anything else, we are happy to see the Fedora efforts on the Efika MX building (pun intended!).

New Arrivals – Genesi Efika MX Smarttop

We would like to increase the Linux distribution options on the platform. Fedora will join Ubuntu, Gentoo, Debian, Mandriva and Android. We even have a FreeBSD port getting started.

R&B :)

I wonder, how much interest would be in an openSUSE port. There was a previous attempt to port openSUSE to ARM. I even got it running in a chroot on my smartbook and helped a lot with package fixing for ARM. The problem was, that those who worked on the base system, left the openSUSE project and are now at Linux Foundation working on MeeGo.
