Have you applied latest firmware? (See thread about ac_97 patch publied some weeks ago)

Yes, its installed. Didnt work.

Its gutsyefika_boot from http://www.genesi.hu/ubuntu/. Date 19.10.2007

I used gutsyefika_netinst for install. In /boot are some files with the number 2.6.22-14 (vmlinux, intird.img...)

Then it should have worked without efika.forth or a firmware upgrade. At least it worked on my machine before I uploaded the kernels :-)
