Hi all

I just though I'd share this initiative from OpenCores, which aims to create an open source (both hardware a software) SoC with a RISC processor.
They aim to create a completely open hardware design, including an open toolchain.

I just though I'd share this for anyone interested as I, for one, am very curious to see if this can produce a viable product, especially for use by companies.

For those interested, donations can be made here: http://opencores.org/donation
Here's a FAQ answering all your questions: http://opencores.org/donation,faq

Good day!
