The following list of things are working on the ODW at this time:

1) Virtual Firmware Interface (first level bootstrap)
2) inetboot (aka NFS bootstrap)
3) core kernel (unix and genunix linked together)
4) krtld (kernel run-time loader)
5) dynamic kernel module loading
6) virtual memory management
7) trap handling
8) interrupts
9) DDI (device driver interface) framework
10) locking
11) device and nexus drivers (ethernet, serial port, ISA bus, PCI bus, root nexus)
12) TCP/IP stack
13) NFS stack
14) exec
15) scheduling
16) clock
17) system calls
18) everything else I've forgotten to include

It takes a LOT to get to the point of being able to execute /sbin/init (or anything else). We will now move on to dynamically linked user applications. This means getting the run-time loader working and all the libraries built

Wow! This is fantastic news! Is there any way seeing it on my own ODW? I mean a binary, as I don't have the tools set up to compile Solaris over here...

Now I wonder, which non Linux OS will I first boot in my Pegasos or EFIKA: MorphOS 2.0, FreeBSD or Solaris :)
