Excellent! I thought after Tigger took a dive on us, we would never see AROS on a EFIKA. :)

Regarding the problem with the files not being found, the OF fat filesystem is quirky when it comes to filenames, and makes them case sensitive.

For instance, intuition.library would come out fine, but menu.lst would, because it is an 8.3 filename, come out MENU.LST - and lower case will not find it.

This obviously makes the OS or boot loader need to know exactly what case the filesystem wants..

The problem has a different nature. Once I have issued the "ls scsi0 boot/modules" I could list all the files in this directory. The files which failed to load previously were not listed with ls command either. However, they really were on the stick.

Just as if the OF FAT driver could not list more than 38 files... Strange, pretty strange...

Hi Jerzy,

How did you get it to boot up? Did it load up straight away?

You might have two issues with this iso:

1. The case where HUB devices have no name was handled incorrectly. Therefore, some HUBs crashed AROS before it was even able to boot at all. This is the issue with Apple keyboards for example.

2. Due to AROS nature, input.device will crash if it will receive mouse movement event before the gfx system is up (gfx system is up when the screen turns black and a red mouse pointer is visible).

I will release a new ISO (or xdelta file) soon. It does fix issue 1, but not the issue 2. Nearby, few other fixes will be there (including newest mass storage changes, faster DVD-USB access and fixed, writable SFS filesystem).

The new ISO is released: http://linuxtracker.org/download.php?id ... 11.torrent

Please have a look at my blog entry for some more details: http://msaros.blogspot.com/2009/02/one-tiny-fix.html
