Did anyone already try to install AROS on EFIKA. There exists some files on aros website : ppc-linux-system and ppc-all-contrib. I can't find any documentation how to install AROS on PPC linux.

Thank you, Syner.

I really hope so. Quite happy to hear this news. :D AROS will make a great placeholder until MorphOS appears.

send it someone who will be patient enough to install MOS on it AFTER Aros is released instead of threatening your board uselessly.

To bring this back on topic... :-)

I'm looking forward to check out AROS on the EFIKA. I'm sure it will have some great possible applications!

I second that!
Propably many EFIKA owners wanted to use it to develop for MorphOS. AROS is catching up lately - Even a good web browser is in progress now. I for myself would very much like to develop for AROS regularly, as soon it runs on my EFIKA.

I don't know which is the current status of AROS on Efika. I bought an Efika in november, installed Debian and ... no more at the moment.

AROS on Efika would be great and it will boost PPC interest around AROS. I tried to run AROS hosted on LinuxPPC and install the SDK ... I tried, asked for help, obtained some, tried again ...

Now I plan to use my Efika as a small server for my computers. Maybe I should install Crux on it, to help, test, ...

AROS would also be nice to understand how to program the board for embedded development.

Hi Corto !

I would be interested by your experience feedback into trying to install AROS on the Efika.

In fact, I would like to help you as I can and maybe we could try to write a working tutorial for the next Efika book version if we get something working ?
You know my email ;-)

Considering, that MOS 2.0 is not planned to release in the near future, it is pleasant to see on Efika something distinct from Linux clones.

Hehe!

If I know my MorphOS Team correctly they will simply rename it to 2.5 when they discover new features to include.. :)
