Hi

I am using Firefox; in normal use the speed is quite good, navigating to pages, clicking on normal links to files, etc.

When I right click a link to save a file, Firefox suddenly goes very slow while I wait for the download to finish. It's very strange, I can click the link to the same file and it downloads very quickly (I don't mean load it from cache). I guess it's something to do with the download manager.

I also noticed this in 10.2 but IIRC the included Firefox was built in debug mode so I assumed that was the cause. Now I'm on 10.3 it should have dissapeared.

Does everyone else get this, or is it just me ?

TIA

Not very slow, but I have a similar experience. It is not only on openSUSE, the same goes on Vista on a 2x2.1Ghz, 4GB RAM machine. So I tend to copy links and wget, which is also a bit more intelligent, than the FireFox download manager :-)
