A good number of Packman packages were updated while I was on holiday, so my little Pegasos worked hard for almost two days when I arrived back. New and updated packages are available at the usual place.
Talking about updates: as all of you could notice, package management in SUSE Linux 10.1 was far from perfect due to a new . Last week the situation improved a lot with an update to all related components, so if you have not done so,
please update now. Use 'YOU' (Yast Online Update) instead of 'rug'. It has one little bug: if you don't have all installation sources available during update, all of your 'rug' services are lost (I ran into this one...).
There is one known bug: if you have local (non network) installation sources, 'rug' does not see, if they are updated. This is a problem, if you have an rsync mirror of packman pacages on a partition. Will be fixed after the next SLES RC is out
