Project Proposal
Slackintosh is the unofficial port of Slackware GNU/Linux for the PowerPC processors. Our main goal is to provide a Slackware "feeling" on this kind of computers.
We currently officially support the powermac platform as it's all we have to build and test programs on it.
One of our users managed to install Slackintosh on a previous EFIKA evaluation board with a complex installation procedure, but we'd like to include this platform between the officially supported and provide a complete installer.
We also provide some extra packages not present in the original Slackware distribution and generally lacking in the PowerPC world, like builds of OpenOffice.org or Gnash flash player.
