Hello,

I have had my smartbook for a few weeks now and all is going well apart from one little niggle: odd battery condition reporting.

For example, all can be normal, gnome reports a capacity of 30.1Wh and a rate of 5-6W. However, suddenly the battery capacity will jump to 727Wh, so the system sees the battery as empty.

Does this happen to other people?

(Using Oct '11 maverick build)

I have too some odd charge report.
Sometime if i disconnect the power it says quickly that battery is empty, despite i can stay quite some time on it. And if i reboot it can be better.

I have had this happen with my smartbook too. I ended up basically swapping the battery out while the system was plugged in and it seems to kick whatever monitors the battery.

no idea if it will work for you or not.
