YDL4 on pegasos 1, i think that has never been tried, and not sure if it will work until you upgrade the firmware, but the new one you would need is not yet released. X may lookup in the default configuration too.

Try modprobing the affs or asfs modules first.

No idea what installer images you are speaking about, but apt-get install bzip2 should do in most cases.
