Well no technical issue here. But more of a quick thanks to Genesi to producing the quality Efika MX smartbook.

I've recently traveled to Europe from Canada for an extended period of remote work. My main system (a Macbook Pro vintage 2008) just died last night (the dreaded NVIDIA chip blow up).

I brought my Efika MX smartbook as a backup system - not expecting to use it. Today I plugged in my 3G modem, and within minutes I was up and running again with the Efika MX smartbook.

The Efika MX has worked well for me throughout the day so far and I'm looking at it as a more serious work system after this event. The light weight and low heat is also a factor.
