This "$100 laptop" is in the news for some years now.
I think the idea of creating a cheap, energy efficient computer is great. They plan to produce thie device a few million times for 3rd world countries.

Looking at the SPECs of this LAPTOP is very similar to the idea of the EFIKA 2 - but only as LAPTOP.

Personally I feel it would have been super cool if this $100 Laptop would have been build around a PowerPC CPU instead a x86 CPU.

Is their any chance for Power.org to create something similar?

Like an EFIKA Laptop version?
