It seems that mysql is eating a lot of memory.

Well, that is to be expected. Remember that this is a default install, no tweaking has been done.
Furthermore, there are better SQL alternatives for resource constraint systems like this (e.g., SQLite).

Best regards,
Johan

Hi all.

Check this out:
http://62.142.193.236:8000/efika.ogg

That is an .ogg stream streamed using IceCast from an EFIKA :-)

The webserver, database, ssh, etc. are also still running, so drop a line when you're there!

Best regards,
Johan

Since I'm stress-testing the board anyway, you can log in into the EFIKA through ssh :-)

You can check out stuff like /proc etc.
Please don't fill the drive ;-)
i'm logged in !! great !
if your needing/wanting DC to ATX or want one standard ATX to many efika then this NEW! PicoPSU-60-WI 6-26V DC-DC ATX power supply
http://www.powerdeveloper.org/forums/vi ... =1043#6131

might be the perfect option, its without question the smallest and neatest option iv found (very few) so far.

btw, i assume the pass has now been removed or changed as i tryed loggin in last night, and it didnt let me in with putty...

Hi all.

23:20:42 up 15 days, 7:02

Thats the uptime of the EFIKA webserver. It could have gone more, but I will turn it of in a couple of minutes, as I won't be home for a week.

Thanks to everyone for testing the ssh server, the webserver, the Rebol BBS, the VNC server etc.
I hope you liked it. Maybe it'll come back :-)

Best regards,
Johan

Hi all.

I was browsing through some old threads here on PowerDeveloper when I came across this one. I still remember the fun I had with this little server (too bad the Rebol powered forum got spammed in the end).

Anyway, I'm planning on resurrecting it :-) In fact, right now you can connect to the Efika here:
http://91.153.74.219:8080/index.html

It's streaming video out of the window from the new house I just bought! My internet connection is quite bad, but it should work...

As soon as Maria and I are settled in, (and when I have a better connection), I'll put an Efika up permanently, with the forum, audio streamer, etc. - just for fun :-D

Johan.

It is not exactly what we were discussing, but have a look:

http://teleinfo.pb.edu.pl/phpsysinfo/

This EFIKA does not have a graphic card board; it runs Debian without a X-Windows environment and is managed remotely via SSH.

As you can see, it also has PHPSysInfo installed.

Good work Krashan!

R&B :-)

My home server / router is an EFIKA as well. Instead of a graphic card it has a second ethernet card towards the Internet. The serial console works great :-) The machine runs openSUSE (what else...), and provides DNS/HTTP/NFS/OpenVPN/SMB/SSH for the local network, does ADSL routing, NAT and packet filtering, and occasionally it also runs rtorrent (a console torrent client) and mldonkey (an e-donkey client with built in webserver).

It acts as the local installation server for openSUSE testing, but also has some mp3 files to play while waiting for an installation to finish :)

BTW, among other things, Krashan's server is currently hosting this:
