I've tried to install from my CD on a clean partition and it worked fine.
Note that there is an error message on tar extraction "Error exit delayed from previous error", but it's ok.
Don't worry about this.
Note that you must leave enough space for tar extraction (at least 3Gb).

Hi !
I've installed MythTV 0.20 tonight (on the target partition where I had installed EZPegTV 0.3... so it works ;-) )
It seems to be working OK (at least TV).
I'm going to test it a bit then will release another CD of EZPegTV if everything is OK (but before I must also finish things for the Pegasos book ;-) )

Great work, geoffrey!
Unfortunatley I haven't found the time till now to
try it :(
Did you already check the latest ivtv-drivers?
I only tested the 0.8 once & it didn't work but it has been updated at the same day & i haven't checked the newer 0.8 till now...
cheers,
frostwork

ps: would be cool to talk to you live on #morphos or #pegasosppc one day - irc is really quiet nice (never used it before about the last 2 weeks :) )

Unfortunatley the problem isn't gone in the new releases - so we'll probably have to wait till ivtv is fully intefrated into the kernel :(

No, not really. Seems to be a firmware-loading problem.
Maybe it's possible to backport the firmware-handling from 0.4.2 into the newer releases(?).
With some more luck it could even be enough to replace the whole firmware.c (not sure if it's called like that atm) with the old one...
btw mplayer seems to fully support ivtv now (have read it in the ivtv-ml some days ago)

I've opened a new thread as it's a Gentoo problem and not a EZPegTV (we are out of topic :-) )
