yes !
I think RADEON 9xxx are the best supported gfx card on PegII today.
Voodoo are quite old now :-/

Hi!
I jsut sent the screenies to Kentaro :)

Only good reason for Voodoos was MOS with Voodoo-GL drivers only,
but fortunately these times are gone :)

Not only to dig out this old thread :)

Some days ago Kentaro wrote me that he's getting close to fix the ppc-issue :)

PS: I tried again veejay:
With some minor "cosmetics" everything compiles nice on the Peg.
Only the libpostproc directory (which is mainly from mplayer) doesn't like
to get compiled with enabled altivec. Without it compiles...(?).
The resulting (g)veejay (everything but postproc with altivec on)
wants to work, but unfortunately closes its (sdl) screen which should show
the given media-file... DirectFB freezes here...
I'll give it soon another try completely without altivec and/or with
newer mplayer-parts...

Excellent news! Kentaro is so cool. I cant wait to get it working here.

About Veejay, that is not cool that it wont compile with AV flags or whatever. For that type of app Altivec is pretty important..
