Thanks for your hard work, this saves a lot of time!!! :)
You are very welcome!

Now I have tested some more packages. Please download k3b again, as I had to recompile it with a newer version of libvorbis. I also added mjpegtools, as a newer version is needed by transcode.
'bmpx' does not work (yet), I have to figure out, what is wrong with the source rpm. It looks nice, but there is no sound output

Hi!

Me dumb of course forgot to download the repodata, that's why I couldn't
install your rpm from local hd till yesterday (still no net at my peg...).
As far as I have seen everything works really cool, but I noticed that transcode needs a package called "pvm" or similar...
Did you forget to upload it or is it located somewhere on an official
suse-mirror?

Once more thanks a lot!

cheers

It's part of the official openSUSE distribution. But it's probably not on the CDs, just available from the Internet based installation sources, like http://roxen.integrity.hu/pub/opensuse/ ... st-source/ (it's the Hungarian openSUSE mirror).
Bye,
Peter

ps:

Bit off-topic, but at least multimedia-related:

Jahshaka (www.jahshaka.org) is close before a new release (2.0RC2).
Would be great to have a mighty video-editing software on peg, eh? :D
RC1 compiled fine under several distros here but freezes on startup... :(

The readme says: The only dependencies you need are Qt 3.x, freetype 2.x and glut 3.7+.
openSUSE has freeglut-2.4.0-4
Ooops, no, it contains libglut 3.8 ;-)
Then I have to compile it, and see...

OK. I compiled it, and seems to work. At least it did not freeze ;-) I don't know, how it works, or what is it good for, so I can only say, that it started up without any trouble, and loaded a bmp file successfully.
