I just finished converting the 3D drivers to armhf multiarch, and today I should have a public repository with the debs provided -and the imx Xorg driver as well. Please stay tuned :)
What should I add to sources.list to access it?
Code:
deb http://armhf.efikamx.info/debian unstable main
Or something similar, but it's not yet available -though I have uploaded lots of packages, but the server is on the move so it should be available in the next couple of days.

Hello, Just a quick question. I've downloaded the img.xz. How I run the image? should I do dd to a SD card? I've try xzcat efika.img.xz > efika.img and I get an error. Thanks & regards. |

Quote: Hello,
What is the error you get? if xzcat doesn't decompress the image maybe it didn't download completely.

I'm downloading a copy myself now to check. I seem to have a good copy here already though so lets compare it. If it is efikamx-armhf-20120226.img.xz as linked in the first page of this thread it should be 795MB in size and if you run md5sum on it it should look like this: 84c778e032542a1a9fafd76e3f2b5a1a efikamx-armhf-20120226.img.xz If it doesn't match up I would expect its either an incomplete download or its corrupted somehow. I have run into problems like this before and ended up using wget to grab the image. if the image download fails at any point you can use wget -c to continue where you left off. I'm waiting for my second download to complete I will compare what is up on PD to what I have and see if they match/extract here. |

hello, i've try to download it again with curl -O and this is the result: md5 efika.img.xz MD5 (efika.img.xz) = 4aa7a80229081a32b860962f8fc002d2 it's exactly the same as the file I've downloaded before. and I get the same message error: xzcat efika.img.xz > efika.img xzcat: efika.img.xz: File format not recognized Regards! |

Yeah. I got the same results as you. my guess is the download on the server is corrupted somehow I just asked someone to look into it. |

It may take a while to get that download fixed, In the meantime I've temporarily put a copy on my private webserver for you. *link removed* This version should work. I will take that link down and make a post here when the official PD download is fixed. *edit* It's fixed now. |

Hi. The downloads on PowerDeveloper have been fixed. It was a remnant of the server migration... Johan. |

i used install-armhf.sh ssd /dev/sda ( i have removed all files from ssd before run installation ) with "us" repo, script ran fine and finished succesfuly but smarttop doesn't boot (dark screen instead of linux booting screen). how i can check what happened ? only using debug console ? if yes where i can get debug console pinout ? i have a lot usb/serial ttl converters to use instead of efika debug console. smarttop still can be booted from SD card (with latest armhf) Thanks! FIXED: removed /dev/sda1, /dev/sda2 by fdisk and rebuilt using the same script, boots and works as necessary QUESTION: is http://www.powerdeveloper.org/forums/vi ... php?t=2201 patch still valid ? smarttop really boots only 6-7 times of 10, hangs on green led w/o disk activity |

As far as I know there will be 3d drivers in the new apt repository that will be put up soon. thanks!! we are just waiting to get the server set up (moving to a new office and still setting up the network there) If you really need the packages now though. they are on the armhf + 3d image inside the /root directory. probably better to wait for the repo to come up though since markos has been working on those packages quite a bit since the time that that image was released. |
