Hi guys,

while preparing a new image, on which I wanted to emphasize on performance, I wrote a small tips list, which I used and found useful. While not all are about performance, they are about minimizing memory usage, which in turn optimizes performance as there is less swapping. I wrote this small guide on the Debian wiki, which is just a start -it helped save more than 150MB of RAM compared to a plain Gnome desktop, which is a major issue on the Efikas, it just increased my productivity on the platform!

Feel free to add more tips to the wiki page, but let's keep the comments in this forum:

Thank you for the tips! And the new image is also great news. I spent a couple of hours on it today, but I was unable to fully upgrade the old image.
