Hi Guys,

New to this forum ... so hello from New Zealand :-)

I have a custom i.MX53 based board similar to the Freescale ARD board and need to build the latest 3.X kernel
for it. Can anyone tell me where is the best location for this is, or do I just use the stock standard one from
kernel.org and alter the Makefile to build for ARM.

I hear the latest 3.x kernels use "device tree", can anyone tell me what that is and I also hear I need the latest uboot to boot a "device tree" kernel, is this correct?.

Thanks for the help.
B.
