It will fail at the signature but it should build a prep-kernel deb package in the parent directory.
try using
Code:
dpkg-buildpackage -uc -us -b
That's all debuild does in the end.

I've tried the download twice am unable to download more than 362 MiB. Is the image corrupt? Is there an MD5SUM?

I'm attempting to download it here. Will let you know how it goes. Question for OP who made the sdcard image. What is the size of the SDcard to be written to? I'm guessing this would fit on most 4G cards since the image isn't compressed at all (3.7G img file) An md5sum would definitely be appreciated!

It worked perfectly for me as well. I am not sure what the problem might be.
