Hi Folks.

Image

Freescale is launching a new site in the next couple of weeks here:

www.imxcommunity.org

Please send us an email if you would like to register before the site opens. Currently, Genesi Products are being featured.

We expect the site will draw more Freescale engineers and developers into public discussions. This is a good thing and should nicely compliment many of our activities here.

R&B :)

If Freescale want's to clone BeagleBoard's success, it's a bit late, but a very wise thing to do. Let's see if they can reach at least what powerdeveloper.org got in the busy days!

This initiatives don't work if you don't spend a little money giving away toys for the boys to play... Something Genesi actually invented!

Hi JC, don't worry PD still holds its own. When TO3 units are shipping things will get more active. The only thing more frustrating than big companies not understanding the marketing opportunities is when the technology itself is late.

Good news it's something in chip manufacturing that's holding you back. Use your whip on those lazy engineers! :-D

Brilliant statement. I guess, to avoid big companies' lack of understanding, it's best to have your own company self contained, independent of a bigger company's lack of impulse.
I guess nowadays one can't make such an independent startup.
