What makes touchco and wacom make special is that their techonogies are pressure sensitive. Touchco is ahead of wacom as they made multitouch pressure sensitive. Touch and multitouch are not that special as you show in your movie, making it pressure sensitive however is.

So, the iPad is definitely not for me (who started computing life with a 2.5 Mhz (!)
