So I got my new little bundle of joy, but I'm really striking out.
I'm certain that I'm a total newbie but here are my problems.

1. Tried to ssh using the oem/oem as indicated by the enclosed card. I constantly am getting the response "connection refused"

I'm thinking perhaps SSH isn't enabled so forget the network connection approach and I'll make a direct connection.

2. I plugged into a dell monitor that accepts HDMI and to 2 TV (one about 4 years old and one about a month old-not sure HDMI versions)...anyway...no video out of any kind.

I could try to find an HDMI to DVI cable someplace but I'm curious how most of you are connecting out of the box. Anyone else having similar problems?

Hi.

SSH and dhcp should be enabled by default - I had no trouble getting in. I had some problems with an older Dell monitor, but a TV with HDMI input worked just fine.

Best regards,
Johan

Thanks for the quick reply Johan.

Perhaps I have a bad unit.
I'll try a little more troubleshooting.

Code:
apt-get update && apt-get upgrade
solved me the ssh problem. With this the init scripts were updated...

Hi David, we will have a new 2.6.31 kernel available for download today here from PowerDeveloper. Let's try that first. If you still are having problems we will ship you another unit.

R&B :)
