I saw someone wrote in a similar question last year about September. I'm wondering, though, if any solution has been found to make the efika i.mx smarttop boot after ac power is restored following a power outage?

Even a simple hardware alteration?

Thanks.

Turns out that a hardware change is required, but it is minimal. Shorting a jumper (JP8903) in the board does the trick.

After unmounting the device, that jumper can be found just behind the mic connector in the bottom side of the board.

Genesi can not be held liable for any damage that may occur, perform this mod at your own risk!!!
