The topic says it all, is there a way to use bootsplash with Suse 10.0 ppc?

I have to bake a custom kernel anyway, because I like to use my ffs and sfs partitions. But the bootsplash feature can`t be enabled. What can i do?

Make sure you have disabled Tile Blitting.

I asked if bootsplash is possible on SuSE PPC, and I got a negative answer. So, if it works for you, please post a step by step solution here!
